Falling

That was it, the rapids took me over the edge and I was falling. I yelled out as I went down into the mist and spray. I hit the water hard, the wind was knocked out of me. I swam up towards the surface and my head breached and I gasped in oxygen.The sun shone down on my face, and I swam to the edge.  There was a small beach where I struggled up on to and laid face down for a while.    It was over for now, I turned over to survey my location.  I was on the beach and looking back towards the water fall that I had come over.The sun shone down into the clear pool in fornt of me.  The water fall was high but the pool I had landed in was deep.  I sat here staring and then looked at my wrist navi computer.  It was time to get out of here......

Rapids

I turned on my back and looked up the narrow chasm that I had fell down to see the Rex looking down at me. I was safe for now, the roar faded as the current whisked me further down river but safety was only short lived. The speed of the current picked up faster and faster I tried to swim to the sides but it was not good. The rapids carried me further and faster then the river ended at an edge.......I was heading towards a water fall......... had my luck just ran out??????........

Alive

I hit the water hard, winded by the impact. I had escaped it.....I was alive......for now......

Pursuit

I burst through the undergrowth running for cover as the T Rex ripped through the trees behind me. It was chasing me, it was actually chasing me!! I had completely ignored my training,they had said not to run but to keep still. That's easier said than done as your natural instinct takes over and all you can think of is getting away. The Rex belted out another massive roar and I could feel its warn breath hit the back of my neck. This was it I had no chance, this thing was an apex predator and it had locked on to me. I kept running, flinging myself through what seemed like miles of forest,branches whipped past me and slashed at my face. Then another roar and another, more intense now, the chase was intensifying and I had to find a way of escape, I had to survive . I whipped through another bush when a couple of smaller lizard like dinosaurs scattered before me and immediately bolted out of my way screaming. Another roar and the Rex's head hit my back and knocked me forward. The creature's thundering footsteps were storming down on me. I managed to keep my balance and kept running and running, desperate for a way out of this mess. It was hopeless, another roar and another knock then it had me. The Rex's jaws clamped in to my back pack and lifted me from the ground. The creature swung me back and forth, I desperately reached for the belts on my pack and then it came loose. I fell to the ground and the Rex crunched once then twice and swallowed my backpack. I ran and bolted toward the undergrowth. The monster thundered after me, and again roared forward catching me up. I ran but I was getting tired, the adrenaline was no longer enough. The Rex smashed into me knocking me forward again and I stumbled forward. I continued to run and the roar came close yet again and again. The sound was deafening and the creature's breath and saliva exploded up my back and the jaws narrowly missed my arm as the creature's head pounded the earth beside me. I tripped forward and the creature opened its jaws. I burst through some palms and then ran into thin air. There was another massive roar from behind me.The creature's jaws snapped shut above me as I fell down. I fell further down and screamed but then I hit water.....

Tyrannosaurus - Info

The Tyrannosaurus is probably the best known of all the dinosaurs. Of all of the dinosaurs that lived it was one of the largest meat eaters. It was a huge creature and one of the most fearsome. The Tyrannosaurus was 15 metres long, 6 metres high and had a head about 1.5 metres long. It's jaws were lines with large razor sharp teeth that were the size of a butcher's knife!!! This creature was large enough to swallow a man whole and had the power and the agility to make it one of the most deadly dinosaurs that ever lived during the Cretaceous period.

Tyrannosaurus

I ducked into the nearby undergrowth when I heard the noise. Something huge roared out from behind the trees. The road reverberated through my ear drums like nothing I had ever heard. Again it blasted out another massive roar,there was then a huge crash and the trees the other side of the clearing burst open. The creature was huge...at least 6 metres tall and about 15 metres long!!!! I pointed my navi computer at the creature, the read out displayed "Tyrannosaurus-Beware- Extreme Danger". I couldn't move... Then it looked to one side then down towards me... It had seen me!!!!

Time to travel through time ..........

This is my first report, and I have to say I'm kind of nervous.. Well I think I have reason to be as I'm about to do something no human has ever done before, time travel.... Jesus its hard to believe but in 10 minutes I will be paying visit to a place that no human has ever seen. My first destination is the earth 65 million years ago, my god !!! I have studied the books and I have taken advanced survival training so I am ready.....I think.....

The Time Traveller 1000 Programme

The time traveller 1000 programme allows a human being to be transported back through the ages to observe the earth and report back findings to those in the present. Of course this is totally fictitious however in order to make for a more interesting blog lets follow our time traveller through the ages and try and imagine what such a person would see if perhaps one day time travel was ever possible. Our time traveller's findings will be reported back to us through this blog with some educational facts but at the same time he will report on his interaction with the world he finds and the dangers that may lie before him. Let's hope our man makes it back in one piece as the past as you will see is sometimes a very dangerous place to be........

Hi guys this is a blog with a serious difference. Why you may ask is this blog different? Well not many blogs are published from the view of a time traveller. This new blog will follow The Time Traveller 1000 through the ages of time.It is designed to give you a novel view from a time traveller's perspective so it will recount historical moments in time but at the same time there will be action and adventure on the way.
